Chuck Noland Experience an amazing hero's journey. He was the only survivor of a terrible plane crash and had to survive on a vacant island for four years. His journey made him into a person of courage, bravery, and peer Independence.
It all started when he got on the plane for a business trip Christmas Eve. He was at dinner with his friends and family when his beeper went off signaling for him to go to the plane. His girlfriend, Kelly took him to the airport, before he left they exchanged Christmas presents; she gave him her grandpas pocket watch, he gave her a ring they didn't make any promises except for to talk about it when he got back on new years. He got on the plane, in air there was a storm which blew them off the map, then crashed the plane in to the ocean.
He was the only survivor, a raft he was giving by one of the pilots saved his life, he floated to the island. he had no clue where he was, how long he would be there for, could any one find him? What would he eat? a few packages washed up to shore, one of them happened to be a Wilson volleyball. one day in anger after trying to start a fire and cutting his hand he slapped the ball and left a red hand print on it, this ball soon became his only friend: Wilson the volleyball. It took a while but he soon became a great fisher and was great at starting fire, he figured out how to live without the luxuries of civilized life.
He started calculating the tide and the weather, he built a raft that could handle the tide, all he needed was the right day to escape the island. when the time came he made it out, he spent a few days on the ocean, he lost Wilson out at sea, but them a ship came along and rescued him. every one was mesmerized when they found out he was still alive. A lot changed since he'd left, Kelly got married and had a kid was the only thing he really cared about though. He bought all the items that were in the packages on the island and returned them.
Chuck was a survivor, most people in that situation would have probably just laid down and died. He worked hard to live and made it, he did everything he set out to do with all the obstacles in the way, he definitely completed his journey. I wish I could be a smart as him if I was stuck
